Terms and Conditions for Ruby Cleaners Cleaning Services
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of cleaning services by Ruby Cleaners. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. They are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and a consistent standard of service for all customers.
Ruby Cleaners operates as a professional cleaning company in the area, providing services to residential and commercial clients. These terms apply to all bookings unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Booking Process
Bookings can be made by providing details of the property, required services, and preferred dates. Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and complete at the time of booking.
Once a booking is confirmed, a service time and date will be agreed. Ruby Cleaners will make reasonable efforts to attend at the scheduled time; however, exact arrival times may vary due to traffic, access, or operational requirements.
Customers must ensure that the property is accessible at the agreed time. If access cannot be provided, the appointment may be treated as a missed booking.
Service Scope
The scope of work will be agreed prior to the service and may include standard or specialised cleaning tasks depending on the booking. Only tasks confirmed in advance will be carried out during the appointment.
Ruby Cleaners reserves the right to adjust the service where necessary due to safety concerns, unsuitable working conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be communicated where possible.
Payments
Payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking. In most cases, payment is required upon completion of the service unless otherwise specified.
For certain services or larger bookings, a deposit may be required in advance to secure the appointment. Failure to provide the required deposit may result in cancellation of the booking.
All prices are based on the information provided by the customer. If the actual condition or size of the property differs significantly, the final price may be adjusted accordingly, with agreement where possible.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers may cancel or reschedule a booking by providing reasonable notice. We recommend at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid cancellation charges.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee to cover lost time and operational costs. This includes situations where access to the property is not provided at the agreed time.
Ruby Cleaners reserves the right to reschedule appointments in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as staff illness or adverse conditions. In such cases, an alternative time will be offered.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the property is in a condition suitable for cleaning. This includes providing safe access, removing excessive clutter where necessary, and ensuring utilities such as water and electricity are available.
Any valuable or fragile items should be secured or clearly identified prior to the service. Ruby Cleaners cannot accept responsibility for items that are not properly secured or disclosed.
Customers must inform us in advance of any specific risks, hazards, or special requirements related to the property.
Liability
Ruby Cleaners operates with care and professionalism at all times. However, liability is limited to the value of the service provided in cases where damage is directly caused by negligence.
We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or issues arising from improper installation or maintenance of surfaces or fixtures. Certain stains, marks, or conditions may be permanent and cannot be fully removed.
Claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. Failure to report issues within this timeframe may affect the ability to investigate and resolve the matter.
Insurance
Ruby Cleaners maintains appropriate insurance, including public liability cover. This provides protection in the unlikely event of damage or incidents occurring during the service.
Details of coverage can be provided upon request. Insurance applies only to services carried out under agreed conditions and within the scope of work.
Waste and Environmental Regulations
Ruby Cleaners complies with relevant waste handling and environmental guidelines where applicable. Standard cleaning services do not include the removal of large volumes of waste unless agreed in advance.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that any waste requiring specialist disposal is identified prior to the service. Hazardous materials, including chemicals or biohazards, will not be handled as part of standard cleaning services.
We aim to follow responsible practices, including the use of appropriate cleaning products and support for recycling where possible.
Health and Safety
Ruby Cleaners is committed to maintaining a safe working environment for both staff and customers. We reserve the right to refuse or suspend services where conditions are considered unsafe.
This may include, but is not limited to, hazardous environments, unsafe access, or situations that pose a risk to health and safety. In such cases, the service may be rescheduled or cancelled.
Access and Security
Customers may choose to provide access to the property in their absence. In such cases, clear instructions must be given regarding entry and exit procedures.
Ruby Cleaners will take reasonable care when handling keys or access arrangements. However, we cannot accept responsibility for security issues arising from unclear or incomplete instructions.
Service Limitations
While we aim to achieve the best possible results, certain outcomes cannot be guaranteed. These include complete removal of all stains, restoration of heavily worn materials, or cleaning beyond reasonable limits of the service.
Time-limited bookings will prioritise key areas as agreed with the customer. Additional time or services may be required for more extensive cleaning needs.
Complaints and Feedback
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the service, please notify us as soon as possible. We aim to address concerns promptly and fairly.
Where appropriate, we may offer a re-clean or other reasonable resolution based on the circumstances. Feedback is important to us and helps maintain service quality.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with the services provided by Ruby Cleaners will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to Terms
